The MatchBox was inspired by my opportunity to work on the CG short Major Damage, a collaboration 100 professionals from around the globe. Most of us never met until Damage was first shown at Siggraph 2001, yet the project ran smoothly and the product looked great. It was by far the best time I've had to date and I, for one, was so encouraged by the experience I am looking forward to more.Future perks and additions to The Matchbox:

Search Engine:
As the content increases, I hope to add a search engine to facilitate finding those who have like interests or complimentary talents, or for simple curiosity and browsing.Project Bulletin Boards:
If it looks like it will be a useful addition, I would also consider adding the availability of a bulletin board that would be specific to project discussions and would be reasonably secure. These bulletin boards would be for initial discussion only, and both the project leads and the potential talent will have to agree to being added to the discussion before I will include them. No harassment of the talent will be tolerated whatsoever!!! I will do my very best to enforce this policy. Recruiters, unless you are coming after me, don't waste anybody's time, including yours.The MatchBox is only for serious and credited talent at this time. If there is a demand from the project leads, I will consider adding a site for students and interns sometime in the future, for those getting started on their careers but have shown a great aptitude in the field. This talent would be available for simple tasks at the discretion of the project leaders. Use the questionnaire link below to start the process. A form will automatically open with the information needed to decide what would be the appropriate questions. I will respond with those questions as quickly as possible. This is not an automated process; please be patient as I am also an artist and may be in crunch time myself. Only serious and credited talent will be included at this time; The MatchBox is for professionals only. I will then notify you your interview is up for review and where to find it. You will have two weeks to review your page and request any changes. This is not a tabloid site; it is important to me you are happy with what is being posted. I will do the best I can to provide some sort of information base to participants, and to protect them from annoyances of the (insert description of your choice here) that can't respect the talent. However, I am only human so if something does slip through, realize the world is one screwy place and I can only catch so many bullets in my bare hands, blah, blah, blah.....We reserve the right to refuse postings from companies/individuals for any reason.OK, me, not "we".
